Dr. Ivan Zak is CEO and founder of Galaxy Vets Healthcare system. He’s also podcast host of Veterinary Innovation Podcast and a podcast called Consolidate That.
Originally born in Ukraine, Dr. Zak moved to Canada where his tumultuous career began by getting fired and stolen from by his cofounders without warning.
Fast forward to today, he founded Galaxy Vets in August and already has 10 locations under LOI. They have plans to grow to 220 hospitals and go public in five to seven years. Their goal is to create a scalable hub and spoke model with vertically integrated services.
